I write screenplays, make movies and photographs, and sometimes I surf. I was born in Oxnard, California where most of my large extended family still live. I now live in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Baldwin Village.
As a filmmaker and photographer I've worked with the United Farm Workers Foundation, Chadwick School, the Learning Rights Law Center, and the Children’s Institute. My proudest moments have been traveling the state of California filming and photographing the daily lives of farmworkers, as well as deep into the Sequoia National Forest documenting an outdoor education trip for Chadwick students. My short films have played at festivals in Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Diego. I discovered my love of filmmaking and photography while producing programs at Stanford University’s student station, SCBN. Today, I work as the digital content manager producing videos and photography for the Children’s Institute in Los Angeles. |
