My Why

I make comedies about Mexican American families and people trying to figure out life. I profile everyday people in short docs. I do this to better understand myself and the world around me. By contemplating a story, I feel like I’m learning about life and sharing those lessons with others. It’s what the super power of storytelling is for…right? Learning the craft of visual storytelling is my jam and has been since college. I’ve stopped asking why that is, but just accept it as fact and do the work.
